In 1990 Jerry joined Martin C. Lang General Contractor, and in 1998 Marty Lang and Jerry established Lang Wyatt Construction. With over 30 years of commerical construction experience, Jerry worked on many relevant projects including La Paloma Family Resource Center; La Aldea Graduate Student Housing; Stewart Observatory Mirror Lab Addition; UA McKale Center Renovations; the Gallery Sports club and many local churchs and fire stations. In 2006, Jerry became a LEED Accredited Professional.
In 2005, Jerry married Janice Morrison and became an instant stepfather and grandfather to Janice's son, Kyle (Rebecca) Morrison and daughter, Kama Morrison; grandsons Tyler, Connor, Ethan, and Noah. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and taking them to sporting events and movies.
Jerry had a passion for music and often enjoyed concerts and theater events with his wife and fellow music loving friends. Jerry enjoyed snow skiing and playing racquetball with his closest friend Ken Woodward. Recently, Jerry took up cycling and loved spending the weekends taking long bike rides.
